This piece is a celebration of color and light. It began as an experiment in layering my gorgeous watercolor pigments, rich oranges, glowing turquoises, and warm midnight blues. I chose the colours to capture the joy of a perfect summer evening. I also added subtle glitter effects that catch the light just right. Thanks to the high-resolution scan, you can actually see the shimmer just as it sparkles on the original paper.
