I only discovered nudibranchs recently. At first, I thought they were a hoax. Surely nothing this vibrant could be real? But it is. Nudibranchs, or sea slugs, live in oceans all around the world, carrying outrageous colors and shapes as if they’d walked right out of a dream.
This portrait is my way of honoring these beautiful creatures. It’s a reminder that even in the most quiet parts of the world, life insists on being spectacular.
